J&K BOPEE Invites Applications for GNM & ANM Courses 2025
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially announced the commencement of online applications for the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) courses for the academic session 2025. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to government and private colleges/institutions in the Union Territory of J&K.
Important Dates & Details
- Start of Online Application Submission: April 5, 2025
- Last Date to Apply: April 18, 2025 (Midnight)
- Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- (Payable online via Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking)
- Tentative Exam Date: May 18, 2025
- Mode of Examination: Offline
Candidates are advised to download the e-Information Brochure from the BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in) and thoroughly review the guidelines before filling out the application form.
Eligibility Criteria
GNM Course:
- The applicant must be a domicile of J&K or UT of Ladakh (ST certificate from Ladakh to be treated as domicile proof).
- Age limit: 17 to 35 years as of December 31, 2025.
- Must have passed 10+2 with English and obtained at least 40% marks for Open Merit and 35% for Reserved Categories.
- Candidates who have completed Vocational ANM courses with 40% marks are also eligible.
- Registered ANMs with passing marks can apply.
- Must be medically fit.
- Students appearing for 10+2 exams in 2025 can also apply, but they must provide proof of qualification at the time of admission.
ANM Course:
- The applicant must be a domicile of J&K or UT of Ladakh (ST certificate from Ladakh to be treated as domicile proof).
- Age limit: 17 to 35 years as of December 31, 2025.
- Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Must be medically fit.
- Students appearing for 10+2 exams in 2025 can also apply, but they must provide proof of qualification at the time of admission.
Required Documents for Online Application
Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following documents in PDF format (100-200 KB size):
- Domicile Certificate
- 12th Class Qualification Certificate (if result declared)
- Date of Birth Certificate (issued by the board)
- Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Other relevant documents (if required)
