J&K Govt Orders Major Reshuffle, Transfers 41 JKAS Officers

Srinagar, Mar 01 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday ordered transfer and postings of 41 JKAS and Junior scale JKAS officers with immediate effect.
As per an official order issued by GAD JK a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, In the interest of administration, the Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the following transfers and postings with immediate effect.
Ms. Vivek Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department, has been transferred and posted as Director General, Floriculture, Jammu. She shall join at her new place of posting upon the retirement on superannuation of Mr. Jatinder Singh, JKAS, on March 31, 2025.
Mr. Bhawani Rakwal, JKAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
Mr. Khalid Jahangir, JKAS, Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Mr. Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, JKAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Managing Director, J&K Housing Board.
Ms. Rubina Kausar, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Libraries, J&K, against an available vacancy.
Mr. Sudershan Kumar, JKAS, Secretary, J&K Board of School Education, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization.
Mr. Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, JKAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Vice-Chairman, Lakes, Conservation and Management Authority, J&K.
Mr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, JKAS, Managing Director, J&K Horticulture Produce, Marketing and Processing Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, School Education, Jammu.
Mr. Mohammad Younis Malik, JKAS, Vice-Chairman, Lakes, Conservation and Management Authority, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department.
Mr. Vikas Sharma, JKAS, Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Mission Director, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Mr. Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, JKAS, under orders of repatriation to J&K from the Union Territory of Ladakh, has been posted as Director, Handicrafts and Handloom, Jammu.
Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Director, School Education, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department.
Mr. Rajinder Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department.
Mr. Puneet Sharma, JKAS, Director, Geology and Mining, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department. He will also look after the work of DILRMP, NAKSHA, SVAMITVA, and AGRISTACK.
Mr. Suraj Parkash Rukwal, JKAS, Director, Handicrafts and Handloom, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Geology and Mining, J&K.

Mr. Ashish Kumar Gupta, JKAS, Managing Director, J&K Housing Board, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Skill Development Department.
Mr. Rakesh Magotra, JKAS, Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Member, J&K Services Selection Board.
Mr. Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, JKAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Board of School Education.
Ms. Rifat Aftab Qureshi, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner, State Taxes (Stamps), Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar.
Mr. Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, JKAS, Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing, J&K.

Mr. Rahul Gupta, Junior Scale JKAS, presently posted as DSWO, Ramban, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, for further posting.
Ms. Supinder Kour, Junior Scale JKAS, presently posted as Under Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission.
Mr. Nowshad Anjum Mir, Junior Scale JKAS, presently posted as Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kupwara, has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Social Welfare Department, for further posting.
