The syllabus is divided into six sections, as described below:
A. General Intelligence & Reasoning (20 Questions, 40 Marks)
This section will assess logical reasoning abilities, including:
- Analogy, classification, and series (semantic, symbolic, and number-based).
- Problem-solving, judgment, decision-making, and visual memory.
- Non-verbal reasoning such as coding-decoding, Venn diagrams, and figure-based puzzles.
- Concepts like emotional intelligence and critical thinking.

B. General Awareness (20 Questions, 40 Marks)
Candidates will be tested on their knowledge of:
- Current events, especially those impacting J&K.

C. Quantitative Aptitude (15 Questions, 30 Marks)
Focus areas include:
- Basic arithmetic operations and concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Time and distance, profit and loss, partnership business, and mixture problems.
- Basic geometry and mensuration.
D. English Language & Comprehension (15 Questions, 30 Marks)
This section evaluates language proficiency through:
- Grammar, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, and sentence correction.

- Active/passive voice, narration, and sentence rearrangement.
