JKBOPEE Latest Notifications on Medical and Paramedical Admissions – 2025
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released several important notifications regarding admissions to various medical and paramedical courses for the academic year 2024-25. These include updates on NEET PG admissions, special and stray round counseling for DNB courses, revised merit lists, and invitations for applications to paramedical diploma programs. 1. Special Stray Round Counselling for NEET MD/MS/PGD Courses
JKBOPEE has announced a Special Stray Round of Counselling for admission to NEET MD/MS/PGD Courses in both government and private medical colleges in J&K, including seats under the HMQ quota at ASCOMS. This round has been introduced after the percentile was reduced to 5% by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
2. Stray Round-II Counselling for DNB Courses (Post MBBS/Post MBBS Diploma/Post Diploma)
The board has scheduled Stray Round-II Counselling (Physical mode) for filling DNB course seats across various government medical colleges in J&K. Candidates who have cleared NEET-PG and are eligible under the revised percentile criteria can participate in this counseling round.
3. Revised JKUT Specific Provisional Merit Lists (JKUTSPML) – NEET PG & DNB
Two revised merit lists have been published:
- JKUT Specific Provisional Merit List (NEET MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses – 2024) for candidates belonging to J&K and Ladakh, after the percentile reduction.
- JKUTSPML for In-Service Candidates/Doctors of J&K and Ladakh for admissions to Post MBBS DNB, Post Diploma DNB, and Post MBBS Diploma seats.
4. MD Anaesthesia OBC Seat in GMC Srinagar
A notification has been issued regarding the filling of one OBC seat in MD Anaesthesia at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar under NEET PG 2024.
5. Admission to Paramedical Diploma Courses (12th-Based) – 2025
JKBOPEE has invited online applications for 12th-based paramedical diploma courses, including:
- X-Ray Technician
- Dental Assistant
- ECG Technician
- Medical/Pharmacy Assistant
- Lab Assistant
- Medical Record Technician (MRT)
Students who have completed their 12th standard can apply for these courses before the deadline.
6. Admission to 10th-Based Paramedical Diploma Courses – 2025
For candidates who have passed 10th standard, JKBOPEE is inviting applications for FMPHW (Female Multipurpose Health Worker) and MMPHW (Male Multipurpose Health Worker) diploma courses. These programs are essential for those aspiring to enter the healthcare workforce at the foundational level.
