JKBOPEE Online Registration for NEET UG – 2024 Candidates from J&K/Ladakh

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has issued a notification (No. 078-BOPEE of 2024, dated 18-08-2024) for the online registration of NEET UG 2024 candidates belonging to the Union Territories (UTs) of J&K and Ladakh. This follows the revised NEET UG 2024 result announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 26th July 2024.

Eligibility and Cut-off Scores

Candidates from J&K/Ladakh who have qualified for NEET UG 2024 and meet the cut-off marks established by the NTA are invited to register for the counselling process. The cut-off scores are as follows:

– Open Merit (including JKPM/CDP/Sports/EWS): 162
– Open Merit/EWS & PwD: 144
– SC/ST/STL/STO/OBC/ALC/IB/RBA: 127
– SC/ST/STL/STO/OBC/RBA/ALC/IB & PwD/ JKPM/Sports/CDP: 127

Candidates can verify if their names are included in the list published by BOPEE on its official website. If a candidate’s name is missing, they are advised to contact BOPEE by 20th August 2024.

Required Documents

Candidates must upload the following documents during registration:
– NEET UG 2024 Scorecard
– 10+2 Marks Card
– Domicile Certificate for J&K/Ladakh
– Category Certificate (where applicable)

It is important to note that only those certificates issued up to the last date of registration will be entertained. No under-process certificates will be accepted.

Registration Process

The online registration window is open from 19th August 2024 to 23rd August 2024 (until midnight). During this period, candidates must upload all necessary documents. Candidates should avoid using mobile phones for registration and document upload due to potential technical issues.

After registration, BOPEE will release the Provisional UT Merit List (PUTML) on its website. This list will be used for the online counseling process, which will be conducted later based on candidate preferences and the availability of seats.

Important Instructions

– Candidates are advised to read the e-Information Brochure available on the BOPEE website before starting the registration process.
– BOPEE will not be responsible for any errors made by the candidates during registration.
– The registration process should be completed within the given time frame; failing to do so may result in disqualification.
– Candidates applying under the NRI/HM Quota must also register and upload documents separately.
– The completion of the application does not guarantee admission; candidates must meet all criteria at the time of document verification.
