Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Reschedules Examinations
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the rescheduling of upcoming examinations for Class 11th Annual Regular 2024 (Soft Zone) and Annual Regular 2024 examinations for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th (Hard Zone Area). This decision comes in response to various factors including directions from the Joint Chief Electoral Officer, UT of J&K, Jammu, regarding the schedule for the Lok Sabha Election 2024, and the upcoming Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024, session 2, conducted by the National Testing Agency.
The board received directives from the Joint Chief Electoral Officer, UT of J&K, Jammu, urging them to ensure that examination dates do not clash with the dates of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 in the UT of J&K. Additionally, the National Testing Agency’s Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024, session 2, is scheduled to take place from April 4 to April 15, 2024.
In response to numerous representations from students, the board has decided to reschedule the examinations to accommodate these concerns. The revised examination dates will now be conducted in two sessions, morning and evening shifts, to facilitate a smooth conduct of the exams.
