Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Revises Class 11th Examination Dates Due to Elections
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced a revised date sheet for the Class 11th Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2024 examinations. The rescheduling is in view of the upcoming General Elections to the J&K Legislative Assembly.
As per the notification issued on September 13, 2024, the examinations originally scheduled for September 17, 19, and 24, 2024, have been postponed. The new dates are as follows:
– Chemistry, Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, Economics, Entrepreneurship: Rescheduled from 17-09-2024 to 27-09-2024 (Friday).
– Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Physical Education, and others: Rescheduled from 19-09-2024 to 03-10-2024 (Thursday).
– Geology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and other subjects: Rescheduled from 24-09-2024 to 29-09-2024 (Sunday).

The notification confirms that the time and venue of the examination will remain unchanged. This revision ensures minimal disruption for students while accommodating the election schedule.
