Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the official notification for recruitment to the position of Lecturer in the School Education Department. A total of 575 vacancies will be filled with this recruitment drive.
Candidates with the required eligibility as given in the official notification can apply online for the recruitment drive via the official website of JKPSC on or before the due date. The application received after the due date will be rejected summarily.

Candidates who have a Masters’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University are eligible to apply.

The age limit for candidates is set as bellows:
- Open Merit (OM) – 40 years
- Reserved Categories – 43 years
- Physically Challenged (PHC) – 42 years
- In-Service Candidates – 40 years
JKPSC Recruitment 2024 Salary Details:
The candidates who are selected for JKPSC Recruitment 2024 will get a monthly salary in Pay Level 9 (Rs.52,700-1,66,700).
Selection Process
The selection of JKPSC Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of examination, which will be held at the Srinagar and Jammu centres.

Candidates can download admit cards about 02 weeks before the date of the examination on the official website of JKPSC. Candidates must bring a printout of the Admit Card/Roll Number Slip to the examination Hall.
Application Fee for JKPSC Recruitment 2024:
The applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs 1200 for general category and Rs 700 for reserved categories. The PHC candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The payment will be made online.
