JKSSB Announces Final Selections for Deputy Inspector Fisheries/Equivalent Positions in Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has recently declared the final selection list for candidates vying for the prestigious posts of Deputy Inspector Fisheries/Equivalent in the Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department. The recruitment drive, advertised through Notification No. 04 of 2021 dated 17.07.2021, saw a rigorous selection process.

JKSSB Recruitment Process Overview:

1. Requisition and Notification:
– The recruitment process began with the Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department forwarding the requisition for direct recruitment to 42 posts of Deputy Inspector Fisheries/Equivalent.
– These posts were categorized into Divisional Cadre, Jammu (10 Posts), and Divisional Cadre, Kashmir (32 Posts).

2. Advertisement and Application:
– JKSSB advertised the 42 posts through Notification No. 04 of 2021 dated 17.07.2021, inviting applications from eligible candidates.

3. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
– The selection criteria included a written examination, and the JKSSB conducted a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 08.02.2023, with results published via Notification No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM(UT)/06/2023-04(7110979) dated 09.06.2023.

4. Document Verification (DV):
– Following the CBT, the Board conducted Document Verification (DV) for candidates falling within the consideration zone.
– Supplementary Document Verification was also carried out, ensuring a thorough scrutiny of the candidates’ eligibility.

5. Selection Committee Formation:
– The Board, through Office Order No. 240-SSB of 2023 dated 25.10.2023, constituted a Selection Committee responsible for finalizing the selection for these posts.

The announcement of the final selection list marks the culmination of a comprehensive and transparent recruitment process undertaken by the JKSSB.
