JKSSB Latest Notifications: Document Verification, Selection Lists, and Consideration Orders
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released multiple important updates concerning document verification, final selection lists, and legal consideration orders for various posts. Below is a detailed summary of the latest notifications:
1. Document Verification – Junior Legal Assistant & Legal Assistant
Candidates who have applied for the posts of Junior Legal Assistant and Legal Assistant in the Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Department, advertised under:
- Notification No. 05 of 2020, Item Nos. 149 & 153
- Notification No. 03 of 2021, Item No. 559
- Notification No. 05 of 2020, Item Nos. 148 & 150
…are hereby informed about the document verification process. Shortlisted candidates falling under the consideration zone must appear for the verification as per the schedule issued by JKSSB.
2. Legal Consideration Order: T.A No 39/2023
In reference to T.A No 39/2023 titled Sajad Hussain Vs UT of J&K and Others, JKSSB has issued an official consideration order addressing the legal proceedings and its implications on the selection process.
3. Sub Inspector (Finance Department) – Waiting List Released
JKSSB has released the waiting list for the post of Sub Inspector in the Finance Department, which was advertised via Notification No. 04 of 2020, Item Nos. 118, 121, and 123. Candidates in the waiting list should regularly check the official portal for further instructions.
4. OMR Exam-Based Posts – Document Verification Notice
A notice has been issued regarding document verification for candidates falling under the consideration zone for various posts for which the OMR-based written exam was conducted between 02-03-2025 and 18-03-2025. Eligible candidates must ensure timely presence for verification as per JKSSB guidelines.
5. Sub Inspector (Police – Home Department): Revised Selection under EWS
For the post of Sub Inspector (Police) in the Home Department, advertised under Notification No. 06 of 2021 (dated 21.10.2021), JKSSB has released the revised selection list under the EWS category. Additionally, the withheld recommendation has also been released following review and verification.
