JKSSB Releases Final Selection List for 855 Junior Engineer Posts
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the final selection list for 855 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works (R&B) Department. The list was advertised vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022.
A total of 855 candidates have been selected for the posts. The category-wise break-up of the selected candidates is as follows:
- UT: 428
- SC: 68
- ST: 86
- OSC: 34
- ALC/RBA: 34
- PSP: 85
- EWS: 35
The requisite qualification for selection against these posts is a 3-year diploma in Civil Engineering‘ from a government-recognized institute/Indian University, a degree in Civil Engineering, or AMIE Section (A&B) INDIA.
The cut-off date for applying for these posts was December 27, 2022. An OMR-based written examination was conducted on November 19, 2023. The result/score sheet of the written examination was notified on December 7, 2023. This was followed by the document verification of the candidates falling in the consideration zone from December 13 to 29, 2023.

Selected candidates are advised to download their selection letters from the JKSSB website and report to the designated joining place on the specified date and time.
