The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an advance notice regarding the upcoming Type Test and Short Hand Test (Skill Test) for the posts of Urdu Typist, Urdu Stenographer, and Urdu Short Hand Instructor. The tests are tentatively scheduled for the first week of August 2024.

The exact dates and schedule for downloading admit cards will be notified separately. Candidates are advised to stay updated through the official JKSSB website www.jkssb.nic.in for further announcements.
This advance notice serves to inform the concerned candidates to prepare for the upcoming skill tests. The Controller of Examinations, Reyaz Ahmad Malik, has signed off on the notice dated July 5, 2024.
Copies of the notice have been sent to:
1. Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat, J&K, Jammu/Srinagar.
2. Director Information & Public Relations, J&K Government, with a request to publish the notification in at least three leading local newspapers of Jammu/Srinagar for three consecutive days.
3. Members (ALL) of the J&K Services Selection Board.
4. Secretary, J&K Services Selection Board.
