LG Electronics India Launches ‘LIFE’S GOOD’ Scholarship Program 2024 to Support Meritorious Students
LG Electronics India Private Limited has announced the launch of the ‘LIFE’S GOOD’ Scholarship Program 2024, a CSR initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds. This scholarship program will offer financial aid to students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses at select institutes and colleges across India for one year, helping them advance their educational journey.
Program Details
The ‘LIFE’S GOOD’ Scholarship Program 2024 aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 5, emphasizing quality education and gender equality. In line with Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013, the program gives preference to eligible female students, promoting their empowerment through inclusive learning.
Eligibility Criteria
– Students must be pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses (any academic year) from select colleges/institutes across India.
– First-year students must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their class 12th examinations.
– Students in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in the previous academic year.
– Children of employees of Buddy4Study and LG Electronics India Private Limited are not eligible to participate in the scholarship.
Preference will be given to meritorious students, female students, and those with an annual family income of not more than INR 8 lakh. Applications for this program will be accepted in four phases. Details for Phases 2, 3, and 4 will be announced soon.
Scholarship Benefits
– Undergraduate students: 50% of tuition fees or up to INR 1 lakh (whichever is lesser)
– Postgraduate students: 50% of tuition fees or up to INR 2 lakh (whichever is lesser)
– For meritorious candidates with zero tuition fees and a family income of less than INR 8 lakhs:
– UG students: INR 50,000
– PG students: INR 1 lakh
Required Documents
– Class 12 marksheet and previous year/semester marksheet (for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students)
– Government-issued address proof (e.g., Aadhaar card)
– Proof of family income (any one of the following):
– Income Tax Return (ITR) statement
– Salary slip
– Form 16 (if salaried)
– BPL/Ration Card
– Income proof certificate signed by Tehsildar/BDP (for rural areas)
– Letter/certificate from Gram Panchayat (signed and stamped)
– Proof of admission (college/school ID card, academic fees receipt) and fee structure
– Bonafide certificate from the institute
– Bank account details of the beneficiaries
– Photograph

Application Process
1. Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
2. Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID to land on the ‘Application Form Page’. If not registered, create an account using your email, mobile, or Gmail account.
3. You will be redirected to the ‘LIFE’S GOOD’ Scholarship Program 2024 application form page.
4. Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
5. Fill in the required details in the online application form.
6. Upload relevant documents.
7. Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
8. If all details are correctly displayed on the preview screen, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application.
