The Ministry of Education has started the application process for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) for 2024 through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) from June 30, 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the NMMSS 2024 scholarships online via the official NSP website, scholarship.gov.in.
Candidates must complete a one-time registration and application process for new and renewal scholarships on the NSP portal. The deadline for submitting applications for NMMSS 2024 on the NSP portal is August 31, 2024.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for NMMSS 2024?
Students must be enrolled in Class 8 and have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the previous year’s examinations (at least 50% for SC/ST students). Candidates applying for the scholarship must not have an annual income exceeding INR 6 lakh. Additionally, only students enrolled in regular courses are eligible.
