NEET (UG) 2025: Online Application Process Begins – Check Important Dates and Details
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025. Aspiring medical students can now apply online for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India.
Important Details About NEET UG 2025
As per the National Medical Commission Act 2019, NEET UG is the sole entrance test for undergraduate medical courses across all medical institutions in India. The exam is mandatory for admission to:
- MBBS & BDS courses
- BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS courses under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy
- B.Sc. Nursing courses in Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals
Key Dates for NEET UG 2025
- Online Application Submission: 7th February – 7th March 2025 (till 11:50 PM)
- Last Date for Fee Payment: 7th March 2025 (till 11:50 PM)
- Correction Window: 9th – 11th March 2025
- Admit Card Download: By 1st May 2025
- Date of Examination: 4th May 2025
- Timing of Exam: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (IST)
- Result Declaration (Tentative): By 14th June 2025
Examination Pattern & Medium
The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The test duration will be 180 minutes (3 hours).

The application fee for different categories is as follows:

How to Apply for NEET UG 2025?
- Visit the official website – https://neet.nta.nic.in/
- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill out the application form with personal and academic details.
- Upload required documents (passport photo, signature, and ID proof).
- Pay the application fee via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Only one application per candidate is allowed.
- Ensure that the email ID and mobile number provided are correct, as all communication from NTA will be sent via these channels.
