10th, 12th results likely within month

Srinagar, May 09 (KNO): Authorities on Tuesday said that it will likely announce results of annual regular exams of 10th and 12th standard within a month.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Tassaduq Hussain Mir said, “As of now, we are waiting for the evaluation of answer scripts of hard zones.”

He said that the process of the examination of 10th and 12th standard in hard is about to end and the department was trying hard to complete all the process at earliest.

“We have almost completed the evaluation of soft zones. We will try our level best to declare the results this month,” the director said—(KNO)

The heads of all the institutions are advised in their own interest to submit the online applications much before the prescribed dates, preferably before 31th August, 2023 and not to wait till the last date to avoid imposition of late fee and possibility of failure to login on account of heavy load on the website during the last dates. In case any institution fails to apply for Renewal/ Extension of Affiliation within due dates, the consequences, whatsoever, shall lie on part of the defaulter institution(s) and the decision of the J&K BoSE in that respect shall be final and binding upon the institution(s).

Srinagar, May 8: Power Controller Kashmir has informed that, the power supply to Receiving Stations Nowpora, Achabal, Seelu and Bomai shall remain affected due to facilitate augmentation/twining woks on May 09 and 13 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Similarly, in order to facilitate urgent preventive maintenance works the power supply to receiving stations Harwan, Shalimar, Brain, Sonwar, Dalgate, BB Cant and Rajbagh shall remain affected on May 10 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Likewise, the power supply to receiving stations Pulwama and Pinglena shall remain affected on May 09 and 10 from 09 am to 5 pm due to carry out Erection of poles foe new 33 KV Lassipora- Pulwama Line.

Similarly, in order to facilitate shifting of electrical Utilities the power supply to receiving station Wanpoh shall remain affected on May 09 from 11 am to 3 pm.

Kupwara, May 8 (GNS): District Commissioner Kupwara suspended fourteen employees over unauthorized absence from their legitimate duties here on Monday.

The employees, as per an order, were found absent from their legitimate duties during the surprise inspection of various District Offices today on 8-5-2023.

Among the suspended employees included, Bilal Ahmad Sofi, MIS Operator; Razia Shaban, Orderly; Ishfaq Ramzan, Accounts Assistant; Nissar Ahmad, JE; Rafiq Ahmad Pir, Orderly; Gh Nabi Malik, Orderly; Mohd Ramzan Dar, Orderly; Ab. Majid War, Helper; Bashir Ahmad Dar, Helper; Shabir Ahmad Wani, Jr., Assistant; Badshah Khan, Tech. Assistant MGNREGA working with the offices of ACD/ACP/Executive Engineer, REW Kupwara and three others viz. Arshid Hussain, Jr. Assistant; Bashir Ahmad Payer, Orderly; Ashiq Hussain, Driver working with Tehsil Office Kupwara.

“The unauthorized absence of these employees deserves punitive action as warranted under the provisions of Civil Services (Classification Control & Appeal Rules) 1956, and therefore in view of the above (illegitimate absence from duties), the officials as mentioned are hereby placed under suspension and attached with this office with immediate effect”, reads the order, a copy of which lies with GNS.

“Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kupwara shall conduct Inquiry into the matter and furnish his report to this office within 15 days”, reads the order further. (GNS)
