2. External Examiners

External examiners appointed by JKBOSE may supervise or conduct the practical examinations to maintain uniformity in evaluation.

Role of Schools and Institutions

Schools affiliated with JKBOSE must ensure that:

  • Practical laboratories are properly equipped.
  • Required apparatus and chemicals are available.
  • Attendance and marks are recorded correctly.
  • External examiners are provided necessary assistance.

The board has emphasized that any irregularities in the conduct of practical examinations will be taken seriously.

Preparation Tips for Class 12th Practical Exams

Students preparing for the JKBOSE Class 12th practical examinations should follow these strategies:

Revise Experiments

Review all experiments from the syllabus and understand the procedures step-by-step.

Practice Diagrams

Subjects like Biology and Physics require neat and labeled diagrams, which often carry marks.

Understand Calculations

Be prepared to solve numerical problems or calculations related to experiments.

Review Viva Questions

Teachers often ask questions about:

  • Aim of the experiment
  • Principles involved
  • Observations and conclusions

Keep Records Ready

Ensure your practical file and lab notebook are complete, neat, and properly signed by your teacher.

What Happens After Practical Exams?

Once the practical examinations are completed:

  1. Marks are submitted to JKBOSE by examiners.
  2. The board compiles practical marks with theory exam results.
  3. The final Class 12th result is declared after evaluation of theory papers.

Students should focus equally on both practical and theory exams, as both contribute to the final board result.

The release of the practical datesheet marks an important step in the board examination process for Class 12 students.

It helps:

  • Schools organize exam schedules
  • Students prepare their experiments and records

15 Days Petrol, Diesel Stock; 13 Days LPG Available in Kashmir: Div Com Garg

Says supply position comfortable, urges people to avoid panic buying

Srinagar, Mar 11: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Wednesday said that the stock position of essential petroleum supplies including petrol, diesel and LPG in Kashmir division is stable and there is no need for panic buying.

Addressing a press conference, as per news agency JKNS, Div Com Garg said the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs is closely monitoring the stock position on a daily basis.

He said that Kashmir division currently has over 15 days of petrol and diesel stock, while around 13 days of LPG stock is available, adding that the division has storage capacity of up to 15–20 days when stocked at maximum levels.

He appealed to the public to rely only on official updates and avoid panic buying. Garg said that although certain restrictions have been imposed on commercial LPG, these do not apply to domestic consumers, hospitals or educational institutions, and therefore there is no LPG crisis in the region.

The Divisional Commissioner further said that district administrations have activated control rooms and constituted squads to prevent hoarding and black marketing of essential commodities. He warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found indulging in such activities.

Garg also said the government is maintaining a close watch on the supply situation, especially during the ongoing holy month of Ramadan and ahead of Eid, while market inspections have been intensified to ensure price control, food quality and availability of essential commodities across the valley.
