School Teacher Recruitment 2023: The Assam Government has announced mega vacancies for graduate and post-graduate teachers posts in the education department. The selected candidates will be posted in the different provincialised secondary schools under the Directorate of Secondary Education of the state.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced via an X post that, ” Today, our government has released vacancies for over 10,000 posts in the Education Department. Furthermore, Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu said in his posts on X that the Directorate of Secondary Education has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 1424 Post Graduate Teachers and 7249 (1) Graduate Teachers (Arts), (2) Graduate Teacher (Science), (3) Graduate Teachers (Hindi) and (4) Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit) of the different Provincialised Secondary Schools.”
Moreover, another notification by Directorate of Elementary Education has invited applications for 3800 Assistant Teachers of LP Schools and 1750 Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools.
