In a recent development, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir has issued Government Order No. 1096–JK (HME) of 2023, dated 23.12.2023, outlining transfers and adjustments among Medical Superintendents and Medical Officers.
Effective immediately, the reassignments aim to enhance administrative efficiency and elevate the standard of patient care across medical facilities. Notably, the directive emphasizes a temporary basis for the arrangement concerning the doctor listed at S. No. 4. This particular transfer does not grant the doctor any preferential treatment during formal appointment processes, which will strictly adhere to established post-related rules. Additionally, the appointments are subject to any pending writ petition(s) before the Court(s) of Law.
