The University of Kashmir is seeking applications for two project fellow positions in the Department of Biochemistry and Department of Nanotechnology.
Project Fellow in Biochemistry
The Department of Biochemistry is looking for a project fellow to work on a research project titled “Elucidating the role of Angiopoietin-1/Angiopoietin-2 system in infertility in polycystic ovarian syndrome women”. The project is funded by the J&K Science Technology and Innovation Council.
Eligibility:
- M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Clinical Biochemistry from a UGC recognized University.
- Candidates having NET/SET and prior research experience will be preferred.
Emoluments: Rs. 14,000 per month (consolidated).
Project Fellow in Nanotechnology
The Department of Nanotechnology is looking for a project fellow to work on a research project titled “Therapeutic analysis and evaluation of phytocompound-based anoformulations by targeting VEGF and TGF beta pathway in diabetic foot ulcers”. The project is funded by the JKSTI&C/SRE.
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in Nanotechnology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Clinical Biochemistry, with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate/CGPA.
- NET/SET/GATE qualified candidates having prior research experience in the field of nanoparticle synthesis and handling of animal models will be given preference.
Emoluments: Rs. 13,000 per month (consolidated) (subject to release of grants by JKST&IC).
