Srinagar, June 13, 2024 – The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a detailed weather forecast and advisory for the upcoming days in Jammu & Kashmir.
Forecast
– June 13th-14th: Expect partly to generally cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and hailstorms at isolated places.
– June 15th-18th: Generally dry weather is expected. However, light rain or thunderstorms at isolated places cannot be ruled out.
– June 19th-21st: The weather will be generally cloudy with light rain and thunderstorms likely at isolated places towards the afternoon and evening.
Advisory
– Farmers’ Guidance: Farmers are advised to resume their farm operations.
– Weather Conditions: A heatwave is expected over the plains of Jammu, while hot and dry weather will prevail over the rest of Jammu & Kashmir.
– Severe Weather Alert: Thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds, and hailstorms are expected during the afternoons and evenings of June 13th and 14th.
