42 Vacancies JKSSB Deputy Inspector Fisheries Final Selection List Pdf
Srinagar 12 Jan: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the final selection list for the post of Deputy Inspector Fisheries/Equivalent, Level-4 for Division Jammu (Item No. 656) and Division Kashmir (Item No. 657).
A total of 42 vacancies were advertised by the JKSSB vide Notification No. 04 of 2021 dated 17.07.2021. Out of these, the final selection has been made for 40 posts, with 2 vacancies kept reserved for further examination.
The selection list has been prepared on the basis of merit-cum-preference of the candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted on 08.02.2023, followed by document verification of candidates in the consideration zone.
The JKSSB approved the final selection list in its 253rd meeting held on 05.01.2024. The list was subsequently notified vide Notification No.03-Selection of 2024 dated 09th January 2024.
As per the selection list, for Item No. 656 (Division Jammu), 0 post has been allotted for OM, 10 for SC, 0 for ST, 22 for OSC and 0 for ALC/IB/RBA/PSP/EWS categories.
For Item No. 657 (Division Kashmir), 10 posts have been allotted for OM, 0 for SC, 0 for ST, 0 for OSC and 0 for ALC/IB/RBA/PSP/EWS categories.
The selection list is subject to outcome of any writ petitions/OAs pending in courts and any inquiries on candidates. Document verification by JKSSB was limited to ascertaining validity of certificates. Detailed verification, including antecedents, will be done by the user department.
The JKSSB has forwarded the final selection list to the Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, for further necessary action.
