J&K: Territorial Army open recruitment rally begins from Dec 10
Jammu, Dec 9: The second round of open recruitment rally for Territorial Army is scheduled to begin from December 10.
Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh while taking micro-blogging site, posed on X, “Important information for the youth aspiring for a career in Army ford districts Udhampur, Kathua, Samba, Rajouri and Jammu.”
Dr Singh also shared the schedule of next round of Army recruitment beginning December 10, 2025.
However, as per the schedule, number of vacancies for 157 Inf Bn (TA) Sikh for General Duty are 212 and Trademen, one. For 158 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H), Sikh LI, the number of vacancies for General Duty are 228. Educational Qualification for general duty is matric (tenth) pass with 45 percent marks and for Trademen, the educational qualification is eighth pass.
The age criteria are 18 years to 45 years and the reporting time is 2 AM to 5 AM.
Meanwhile as per the schedule, on December 10, 11, 12, for 157 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H) Sikh, rally will be held for Triath, Pooni and Rajouri Tehsil, Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur Tehsil in Samba district and Jammu district respectively.
On December 13, 14, 16 and 17, the rally will be held for Kathua, Billawar, Basohli, Bani and Rajkot Tehsil (Kathua district), Hiranagar, Nagri, Marheen, Dinga Amb, Mahanpur, Lohai Malhar (Kathua), Samba district and Majalta and Ramnagar Tehsil (Udhampur district) respectively.
The rally is scheduled to be held at 158 Inf Bn (TA), (H&H), Janglot, Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir.–(UNI)
