Once you complete these steps, if your application status has been updated, the information will be displayed on the screen.

Any changes in your marks, both before applying for verification and after, will be shown on the dashboard. The CBSE revaluation process for Class 12 began on May 17 with the opening of applications for mark verification. The application window closed on May 21. Similarly, for Class 10, the mark verification process started on May 20 and ended on May 24. Only students who applied for mark verification will be eligible to apply for the revaluation of the CBSE Results 2024.

What does each status mean? The CBSE revaluation process involves several stages, starting with the verification of marks. Each status in the process has specific implications and options for students. Here’s what each status means:

No Change in Marks: If there is no change in marks after verification, students can still request a photocopy of their answer sheets. The portal for this request will open on June 1 for Class 12 and June 4 for Class 10 results. It is not mandatory to proceed at this stage, but keep in mind that if you do not apply for the photocopy, you will not be able to apply for revaluation of the answers either. Revaluation involves the board reassessing the answers to ensure they were marked correctly, which could potentially alter the marks. If you choose not to proceed, the process ends here, and no further action is required from you.

Marks Changed: If the marks change after verification, students can choose to accept the revised marks and exit the process. In this case, a new marksheet with the updated marks will be issued and made available on DigiLocker soon. To receive the printed marksheet, students must first submit the original marksheet issued by CBSE to the respective regional office via speed post. Once received, the office will send the new marksheet to the registered address.

Not Satisfied? Here are your optionsIf the student is not satisfied with the verification outcome, they can proceed by applying for a photocopy of the answer sheet. Applications for photocopies will open on June 1 for Class 12 and June 4 for Class 10.

Only those who have applied for verification of marks are eligible to apply for photocopies and revaluation. If you choose not to obtain the photocopy, the process ends here, and no revaluation applications will be accepted by the board. Students also have the option to improve their results by appearing in the improvement examination in July, which is available to all students, not just those in the compartment examination.
