Central University of Kashmir Announces Admission for Non-CUET Candidates for 2024
The Central University of Kashmir (CUK), Ganderbal, has issued an admission notice for Non-CUET candidates for the academic year 2024. The university is inviting applications for a few vacancies in selected postgraduate programs. Candidates who meet the basic eligibility criteria in their respective disciplines are encouraged to register online for the screening test.
Programs and Eligibility Criteria
1. Master of Education (M.Ed.)
– Eligibility: B.Ed. with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD).
2. Integrated B.Ed. M.Ed.
– Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD).
3. Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering (M.Tech CSE)
– Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech in CSE, Computer Science Engineering, or related fields with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates should also have a valid GATE/NET-JRF/JEST score.
4. M.A. in Mass Communication & Journalism
– Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or its equivalent (45% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD).
5. Master of Commerce (M.Com)
– Eligibility: B.Com, BBA, or B.Com (Hons.) with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD).

Examination Details
The screening test will consist of 50 questions, split between General Aptitude and Subject Domain questions, with a 40:60 ratio. Each test will be 50 minutes long.
