NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 10 results 2023 and had earlier announced the Class 12 results. The CBSE results 2023 is hosted on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in, and Digilocker at digilocker.gov.in. Over 21 lakh students had registered to write the CBSE 10th exam and over 16 lakh for the Class 12 one.

Earlier, the CBSE Board informed students that the CBSE Class 10th result 2023 and CBSE Class 12th result 2023 marksheets will be made through DigiLocker to access the document in digital format. The 6-digit security pin for every student is made available to schools and the board directed the CBSE schools to disseminate the security PIN to students.

Students who appeared in the CBSE Board exams will be able to check their CBSE board results 2023 by entering their roll number, school number, and admit card ID on the CBSE result link. This year, 16,96,770 students registered for Class 12 exams and 21,86,940 for CBSE Class 10.

The CBSE Class 10 exams 2023 were held from February 15 to March 21 and Class 12 exams were conducted from February 15 to April 5, 2023.

  • CBSE Board result 2023: Pass percentage points decreased from last year

    This year the Class 12 examination results decreased by 5.38 percentage points compared to last year when exams were conducted in two parts in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

    In comparison to 2022, when the pass rate for the CBSE class 10 exam was 94.40%, this year’s overall pass percentage is down 1.28% to 93.12%.

Trivandrum is the best-performing region in CBSE Class 12 results with a pass percentage of 99.91% while Prayagraj is at the bottom of the list with 78.05 per cent.

CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2023: No merit list, no division this year 

CBSE has decided not to publish merit list of Class 10, Class 12 to prevent unhealthy competition among students. Further, CBSE did not award first, second or third divisions. The board said it will award merit certificates to the 0.1 per cent students who have scored highest marks in subjects.
