Five J&K government stenographers transferred

   

Five stenographers working for the Jammu and Kashmir government have been transferred to new positions, according to an official order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) on Monday.

The transfers include:

  • Sandeep Patil, who has been transferred from the Office of Food Safety Appellate Tribunal, Jammu to the Director, Command Area Development, Jammu.
  • Surbhi Sharma, who has been transferred from the Youth Services & Sports Department to the J&K Special Tribunal, to work with the Chairperson at Jammu.
  • Pooja Kumari, who has been transferred from the J&K Services Selection Board to the Agriculture Production Department to work with the Secretary in the Department.
  • Sunil Singh, who has been transferred from the J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited to the ARI and Trainings Department to work with Special Secretary.
  • Mukesh Kumar, who has been posted in the J&K Services Selection Board.

The order states that all the transfers are effective immediately.

The J&K government frequently transfers and posts its employees across various departments. These transfers are seen as a way to improve administrative efficiency and provide fresh perspectives to different departments.
