Online/Offline applications are invited from eligible candidates for being considered for appointment to the
post of President and Members for State Commission. The last date for filling up the application is 19-10-2023. For details, kindly refer to ladakh.nic.in, leh.nic.in and kargil.nic.in websites along with Consumer Protection Act, 2019 r/w rules framed there under issued vide G.S.R. 452(E) dated 15-07-2020.
Candidates should carefully read the “Instructions” available on the websites before filling the applications online or offline.
Term of office, salary, allowances and other condition of service will be governed by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Rules framed thereunder.
Note: Candidates who have applied earlier need not apply again. However, if a candidate needs to add any additional information based on revised criteria, he/she may do so. Candidature shall be decided based on the revised qualification and criteria prescribed for selection in terms of the direction from the Hon’ble Supreme Court vide its Judgement dated 03/03/2023 in Civil Appeal No. 831 of 2023 @SLP(C) No. 19492 of 2021”.
