Indian Army Recruitment 2025: The Indian Army is inviting applications from unmarried males and unmarried females (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel), for grant of Short Service Commission (Non-Tech) as NCC Special Entry in the Indian Army. There are 76 vacancies open in Indian Army Recruitment 2025. The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs.56100 to Rs.250000. The chosen candidates will be appointed for a period of 10 years of service, however, this may be extendable by a further period of 04 years subject to their opting for the same and found eligible and suitable for extension of service as per terms of engagement issued from time to time.
According to the official notification of Indian Army Recruitment 2025, the candidate should have a minimum age of 19 years and a maximum age of 25 years to apply for the given post. The applicant must have a Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. The selection of the candidates will be made through the SSB Interview and Medical Examination. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the SSB Interview. Qualification for Indian Army Recruitment 2025:
The candidates must have the following qualification Indian Army Recruitment 2025.
- The candidate should have a Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Candidates studying in their final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree courses respectively.
- Such students will need to secure an overall aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks in the degree course if selected in an interview, failing which their candidature will be CANCELLED.
- It is to be noted that securing 50% aggregate marks in a degree course is a qualification to apply for the entry.
- The Indian Army reserves the right to apply a higher cut-off percentage on the aggregate degree marks to shortlist candidates for being put through the Services Selection Board.
Salary for Indian Army Recruitment 2025:
The selected candidates for Indian Army Recruitment 2025 will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs.250000.

Military Service Pay (MSP). MSP to the officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier Rs.15500 p.m. fixed.

Depending upon rank and area of posting, officers posted to Field Areas will be eligible for the following Field Area allowances:-
Uniform Allowance. Subsumed into the newly proposed Dress Allowance
i.e. 25,000 per year. Ration in Kind. In Peace and Field Areas.
Transport Allowance (TPTA).
Tenure for Indian Army Recruitment 2025:
The candidates who are selected for Indian Army Recruitment 2025 will be engaged for a period of 10 years of service, however, this may be extendable by a further period of 04 years subject to their opting for the same and being found eligible and suitable for extension of service as per terms of engagement issued from time to time.
- An officer will be on probation for a period of 06 months from the date he/she receives his/her commission.
Selection Process for Indian Army Recruitment 2025:
The candidates will be selected for Indian Army Recruitment 2025 on the basis of SSB Interview and Medical Examination. The candidates who qualify in the SSB Interview will be called for the Medical Examination.
Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Jalandhar (Punjab). A call-up letter for SSB interviews will be issued by the respective Selection Centre on candidates’ registered e-mail ID and SMS only.
A Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate at the SSB interview.
