The extension applies to the following scholarship schemes for the academic year 2025–26:

1. Post-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

• Available to students with disabilities pursuing post-matric studies.
• Covers tuition fees, maintenance allowance, books, and other educational expenses.
• Important for differently-abled students to ensure equal access to quality education.

2. Post-Matric ST Scholarship – Jammu & Kashmir

• Designed for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students of J&K.
• Helps students enrolled in higher education institutions to cover educational costs.
• Students must upload necessary caste and income certificates to avail benefits.

3. AICTE Scholarships: PRAGATI/SAKSHAM/SWANATH

These scholarships fall under the All India Council for Technical Education:

• Pragati Scholarship: For meritorious girl students in technical education.
• Saksham Scholarship: For differently-abled students in technical education.
• Swanath Scholarship: For wards of armed forces casualties, COVID victims, orphans, etc.
• Importantly supports students pursuing B.Tech, Diploma, and other technical programs.

4. Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Centrally Sponsored Scheme)

• Available exclusively for Scheduled Caste students of J&K.
• Fully funded by the Government of India.
• Covers tuition fees, non-refundable charges, and stipend.

5. National Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies

• Awarded to meritorious students enrolled in postgraduate courses.
• Helps students continue their higher education without financial burden.
• Candidates will require university verification for final approval.
