IUST Suspends Class Work for “Viksit Bharat@2047-Voice of Youth” Event
In a significant move, the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) has decided to suspend all class work at its main campus and constituent colleges. This decision comes in light of the “Viksit Bharat@2047-Voice of Youth” National Level event organized by Niti Aayog. The highlight of the event is the webcast address by the Hon’ble Prime Minister scheduled for 11th December 2023 at 10:30 AM.

The suspension of class work aims to ensure that students have the opportunity to attend the crucial address by the Prime Minister via webcast. To facilitate widespread participation, the Directorate of IT&SS of the University will share the webcast link.
Not only students but also the academic faculty and staff are encouraged to attend this momentous occasion. The Dean, Directors, HoDs, Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Officers are specifically urged to participate in the webcast, which will take place at the RUMI Library at 10:00 AM on the said date.
This temporary suspension, a rare occurrence, underscores the importance and significance attached to the national event.
