Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has issued several important notices regarding examination schedules, admit cards, driving tests, and application deadlines for various posts in Jammu and Kashmir.
Candidates preparing for different recruitment examinations have been advised to carefully review the latest updates released by the board on its official website.
Admit Cards Issued for Wild Life Guard Exam
The board has announced the issuance of admit cards for the OMR-based written examination for the post of Wild Life Guard. Candidates who have applied for the post can now download their admit cards from the official JKSSB website using their login credentials.
The examination will be conducted in OMR-based format, and candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre.
Driving Test at Bemina Postponed
JKSSB has also issued notices regarding the postponement of the driving tests scheduled at State Motor Garages, Bemina, Srinagar.
The driving tests that were scheduled to be held on March 2 and March 3, 2026, have been postponed. Fresh dates for these tests will be notified separately by the board.
Laboratory Attendant Examination Postponed
Another important update concerns the OMR-based written examination for the post of Laboratory Attendant under the Home Department, which has been postponed.
JKSSB stated that the examination scheduled earlier has been deferred, and new dates will be announced in due course.
Additionally, a notice has also been issued for the information of candidates who were scheduled to appear in the Laboratory Attendant examination on March 1, 2026.
Extension of Application Deadline for J&K Police Posts
The board has also extended the last date for submission of online application forms for several UT Cadre posts in the J&K Police under the Home Department.
The extended application deadline applies to the following recruitments:
- Constable (Telecommunication and Photographer) advertised via Notification No. 15 of 2025 dated December 31, 2025.
- Constable (Armed/IRP and SDRF) advertised via Notification No. 14 of 2025 dated December 31, 2025.
Candidates who have not yet applied can now submit their applications within the revised deadline announced by the board.
