Weather Update for Jammu & Kashmir: 7th June 2024
Forecast- 7th-8th June: The region will experience partly to generally cloudy skies with a possibility of light rain or thunderstorms at scattered places, particularly towards the afternoon.
– 9th-17th June: The weather is expected to be generally dry, though light rain or thunderstorms at isolated places cannot be entirely ruled out.
Advisory ⚠
– For Farmers: It is advised that farmers resume their farming operations, including spraying and fertilizer application, from 9th June onwards.
– Heat Wave Alert: A fresh spell of hot and dry weather, potentially leading to heat wave conditions, is expected to commence from 10th June.
Farmers and residents are encouraged to take necessary precautions and plan their activities accordingly in light of the forecasted weather conditions. Stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, especially during peak hours, to mitigate the effects of the impending heat wave.
