The National Testing Agency has officially declared the results of JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (Paper 1 – BE/BTech), bringing excitement and celebration for engineering aspirants across the country. This session witnessed an impressive performance, with 26 candidates achieving a perfect 100 percentile, highlighting the intense competition and high level of preparation among students.
Leading the list of toppers is Aarush Singhal from Chandigarh, who secured the coveted All India Rank (AIR) 1. His achievement places him at the very top among lakhs of candidates who appeared for the exam. Alongside him, several other high achievers from states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan also secured a perfect NTA score, showcasing strong regional representation.
Among the top scorers are notable names such as Jonnala Roshan Manideep Reddy, Shreyas Mishra, Mantha Shiva Kamesh, and Siddharth Shrikant Athaley, along with 22 others who reached the perfect percentile mark. Interestingly, all 26 toppers this year are male candidates, reflecting a notable gender trend in this session’s results.
The NTA score, which is a normalized percentile score, is used to ensure fairness across multiple exam shifts. It reflects a candidate’s relative performance compared to others rather than raw marks. This system allows for accurate comparison, especially in a large-scale exam like JEE Main, which is conducted in several sessions and shifts nationwide.
With the declaration of results, the next phase begins for successful candidates, including eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026, which is the gateway to prestigious institutions like IITs. All the top scorers are male. Aarush Singhal from Chandigarh has secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1.
Among those who achieved a perfect score are Jonnala Roshan Manideep Reddy (Andhra Pradesh), Shreyas Mishra (Delhi), Mantha Shiva Kamesh (Telangana), and Siddharth Shrikant Athaley (Maharashtra), along with 21 others from across the country.
