J&K BOPEE Announces 1st Round of Counselling for B.E./B.Tech Courses 2024
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has announced the schedule for the first round of physical counselling for B.E./B.Tech courses for the academic year 2024. The counselling sessions will take place at the BOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar.
Counselling Schedule
The counselling will be conducted over three days, with candidates required to attend based on their rank. The detailed schedule is as follows:
Required Documents
Candidates participating in the counselling process must bring the following original documents:
1. 12th Class Marks Card
2. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/Ladakh
3. Category Certificate, including TFW if applicable
4. Date of Birth Certificate (issued by J&K Board of School Education or other recognized boards)
Important Instructions
1. Candidates must report to the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar for registration, attendance, and completion of other formalities between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the day of their counselling.
2. A counselling fee of Rs. 1000 is to be paid via POS machine available at the BOPEE office.
3. Candidates must ensure they bring all required documents, as failure to do so will result in disqualification from the counselling process.
Background
This notification follows the release of the Provisional Merit List for B.E./B.Tech courses as per Notification No.035-BOPEE of 2024 dated June 24, 2024. The list was published to invite objections, if any, from candidates. As no objections were received, the merit list has been finalized and candidates are now called for counselling.
