In the past 24 hours, many areas experienced light to moderate rainfall, while higher elevations saw light snowfall. Here’s a forecast for the upcoming days:

15th April: Expect generally cloudy conditions with intermittent light rain in many areas, especially in higher elevations where snow may occur. The situation is expected to gradually improve as the day progresses.

16th-17th April: Partly cloudy skies are anticipated with light rain occurring in isolated places.

18th-19th April: Cloudy conditions will persist with widespread light rain and snow in higher regions. Thunder and lightning are forecasted during the night of the 18th through the late evening of the 19th.

20th-25th April: Generally dry weather is expected, although afternoon and nighttime thundershower activity cannot be ruled out.

Advisories and Precautions:

1. Farmers: It is advised to suspend farm operations until the 16th of April due to the prevailing weather conditions.

2. Transportation: Temporary disruptions in surface transportation are expected in higher reaches on the 15th of April. Travelers and tourists are urged to plan accordingly.

3. Waterlogging: Temporary waterlogging may occur in low-lying areas. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions.

4. Landslides and Mudslides: There is a possibility of landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones, particularly in hilly terrains. Vigilance and caution are recommended while traveling in these areas.
