JKBOPEE GNM & ANM Admission 2026: Online Application, Eligibility, Dates & Complete Details

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the notification for GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) and ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery) courses for the academic session 2026. Candidates aspiring to build a career in the healthcare sector can now apply online through the official BOPEE portal.

As per Notification No. 051-BOPEE of 2026 dated 15-04-2026, eligible candidates from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are invited to submit their applications for admission into government and private nursing institutions.

  • Start of Online Application: 16 April 2026 (11:30 AM onwards)
  • Last Date to Apply: 29 April 2026 (Midnight)
  • Application Fee: ₹1000 (online mode)
  • Entrance Exam Date: To be announced separately

📝 Overview of JKBOPEE Nursing Admission 2026

The admission process will be conducted under the provisions of:

🔹 For GNM Course

  • Be a domicile of J&K or Ladakh
  • Be 17–35 years old as on 31-12-2026
  • Have passed 10+2 with English
  • Minimum marks:
    • 40% (Open Merit)
    • 35% (Reserved Categories)
  • Be medically fit

Candidates appearing in 12th exams in 2026 are also eligible but must produce proof at admission time.


🔹 For ANM Course

Candidates must:

  • Be a domicile of J&K or Ladakh
  • Be 17–35 years old
  • Have passed 10+2 from a recognized board
  • Be medically fit

Appearing candidates can also apply provisionally.
