JKBOSE Issues Notice to Schools Regarding Extension of Affiliation – Submit Pending Documents Within 15 Days

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), Rehari Colony, Jammu, has issued an important notice concerning the schools that applied for Extension of Affiliation.

As per the official communication, a UT Level Affiliation Committee meeting was held on 01 July 2024 to evaluate the applications for Extension of Affiliation. During the meeting, it was observed that certain school cases were impacted by SO 177. These schools were granted conditional extension, subject to submission of lease deeds in favour of the sponsors and fulfillment of other necessary compliances.

While several schools have responded by submitting the required documents and deficiencies, enabling processing of their affiliation orders, a number of schools are yet to comply with the set conditions. Their cases remain on hold due to non-submission of required documents.

JKBOSE has now notified these defaulting schools—listed in Annexure “A”—to submit the pending deficiencies within 15 days from the date of issuance of this notice. Failure to do so will result in further action in accordance with the rules governing school affiliations.

Key Points:

  • Schools must submit pending deficiencies within 15 days.
  • List of defaulting schools is attached as Annexure “A”.
  • Non-compliance will lead to action as per affiliation norms.

Schools are advised to treat this notice with utmost urgency to avoid any disruption in their affiliation status.
