Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission Announces Verification of Documents for Medical Officer Posts
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced that it will be verifying the documents of candidates who have been provisionally selected for the post of Medical Officer (Allopathic) in the Health and Medical Education Department.
The verification will take place on May 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the JKPSC office in Jammu or Srinagar. Candidates can choose which office they would like to attend.
In order to have their documents verified, candidates must bring the following:
- Original certificates/documents in support of their claim pertaining to age, educational qualifications, internship, registration by MCI/State Medical Council, domicile, category and disability, if any
- A set of xerox copies of the documents
The JKPSC has emphasized that the list of candidates is provisional and does not guarantee selection or appointment. The final selection will be made in accordance with the rules and regulations of the JKPSC, and may also be subject to the outcome of any pending legal challenges.
