JKPSC Releases Provisional List for Casualty Medical Officers
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released a provisional select list for the post of Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) in the Health & Medical Education Department.
The JKPSC had advertised for twelve (12) posts of CMO, as per the breakup given below, each in GMC Handwara and Udhampur.
- GMC Handwara: 6 posts (2 Open Merit (OM), 1 Reserved for Backward Areas (RBA), 1 Scheduled Caste (SC), 1 Scheduled Tribe (ST), 1 Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and 1 Accounts List Category / Industrial Backward Class (ALC/IB)
- GMC Udhampur: 6 posts (2 Open Merit (OM), 1 Reserved for Backward Areas (RBA), 1 Scheduled Caste (SC), 1 Scheduled Tribe (ST), 1 Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and 1 Accounts List Category / Industrial Backward Class (ALC/IB)
The Health & Medical Education Department had earlier referred these posts to the JKPSC for selection.
The JKPSC had also advertised for an additional 46 posts of CMO. The details of these posts are given below:
- GMC Anantnag: 4 posts (1 Open Merit (OM), 1 RBA, 1 SC, and 1 ST)
- GMC Baramulla: 5 posts (1 Open Merit (OM), 1 RBA, 1 SC, and 1 ST)
- GMC Doda: 6 posts (1 Open Merit (OM), 1 RBA, 1 SC, 1 ST, and 1 EWS)
- GMC Kathua: 5 posts (1 Open Merit (OM), 1 RBA, and 1 ST)
- GMC Rajouri: 6 posts (1 Open Merit (OM), 1 RBA, and 1 ST)
