JKSSB Document Verification for Matric Level Posts Download PDF
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has taken a significant step towards filling requisitioned vacancies by conducting an OMR-based written examination on 05-11-2023, as detailed in Notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/88/2023-03 (7314392) dated 19-11-2023. Following this, the Board has now issued a comprehensive notification regarding the Document Verification of candidates falling under the consideration zone for Matric Level posts.
Verification Process Overview
The candidates who find themselves within the consideration zone, outlined in Annexure A, are required to appear physically before the designated Document Verification Committees. These committees will scrutinize and verify the candidates’ documents and certificates. The schedule and venue for this crucial step are clearly indicated in the notification, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the process.
Multiple Posts Consideration
To enhance convenience and reference for the candidates, the Board has provided a detailed list of multiple posts/items considered for each candidate in Annexure B. This meticulous breakdown helps candidates understand the scope of their consideration, ensuring a clear understanding of the opportunities presented.
In a proactive move, the Board allows candidates to submit clubbing requests (as per the format in Annexure C) if any item is missing against their name/roll number in Annexure B. This flexibility is available from 10-01-2024 to 12-01-2024, emphasizing the Board’s commitment to addressing discrepancies promptly.
Candidates are required to present a set of documents in original, accompanied by self-attested copies. These include the copy of Online Application Forms, recent passport-size photographs, photo ID proof, DOB certificate, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, 10+2 marks sheet/diploma, and other relevant qualifications and certificates as per the advertisement notifications.
Order of Preferences
To streamline the process further, candidates must submit their order of preferences for various items/posts in offline mode to the Document Verification Committees (as per Annexure E). This ensures a smooth transition to the next phase of the selection process.
The notification emphasizes the importance of candidates appearing before the Document Verification Committees on the scheduled date, as failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of their right to selection. This stringent measure underlines the Board’s commitment to a fair and efficient selection process.
In conclusion, the JKSSB’s Document Verification process stands as a pivotal step in the journey towards filling requisitioned vacancies, ensuring transparency, and providing candidates with an opportunity to showcase their eligibility for Matric Level posts. The comprehensive guidelines and structured approach adopted by the Board contribute to a seamless and credible selection process.
