The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially extended the last date for submission of online application forms for the UT Cadre posts of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) in the Home Department.
According to an official notice issued by the board, the previous deadline for submitting applications was March 5, 2026. However, after receiving multiple representations from candidates requesting additional time, the board has decided to extend the deadline.
New Application Deadline
Candidates can now submit their online applications until March 12, 2026.
The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement Notification No. 11 of 2025 dated November 26, 2025. The notice states that the extension has been granted after examining the requests received from aspirants who needed more time to complete their application process.
Reason for Extension
JKSSB stated that many candidates had approached the board seeking an extension in the deadline for submitting application forms. After reviewing these requests, the board decided to provide additional time to ensure that eligible candidates do not miss the opportunity to apply.
Important Advisory for Candidates
The board has advised applicants to submit their forms well before the closing date instead of waiting until the last day. Heavy traffic on the website during the final days may lead to login issues or technical disruptions.
Candidates are therefore encouraged to complete the application process as early as possible to avoid any inconvenience.
