JKSSB Accounts Assistant Document Verification: Essential Documents and Guidelines
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification (No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM(UT)/105/2023-03) dated 09-02-2024, regarding the document verification process for candidates falling within the consideration zone for the post of Accounts Assistant (Finance Department) This article outlines the essential documents required for the verification process and provides guidance to candidates.
Document Verification Schedule and Venue:
Candidates falling within the consideration zone, as specified in Annexure-A of the notification, are required to appear physically before the designated Document Verification Committees. The schedule and venue for document verification are indicated in the notification, and candidates must adhere to the specified timelines and locations.
Essential Documents for Verification:
Candidates are required to present the following original documents/certificates, along with one set of self-attested copies, during the document verification process:
1. Copy of Online Application Form(s).
2. Two passport size recent color photographs.
3. One original photo ID Proof (Aadhar card/Voter Card/Pan Card/Passport, etc.).
4. Date of Birth Certificate (10 Diploma/Marks card).
5. Valid Category Certificate, if belonging to reserved categories.
6. Domicile Certificate.
7. 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma.
8. Graduation Degree & Marks Card from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks for open merit and 45% marks for reserved categories. Candidates with a postgraduate degree, holding a PhD degree, or equivalent must produce relevant documents.
9. Bonafide certificate on the format prescribed by the Board, issued by the Controller/Registrar of the concerned University/Board/Institute for candidates who obtained qualifications from outside the UT of J&K.
10. Checklist sheet/form to be submitted by candidates at the time of D.V. (as per Annexure B).
Guidelines for Candidates:
Candidates must ensure that they strictly adhere to the schedule and venue specified for document verification. It is imperative to carry all original documents along with their self-attested copies to the designated Document Verification Committees.
