Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board to Conduct OMR Based Exam for Accounts Assistant on January 28
Jammu, January 22 (KSA): The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced that it will conduct the OMR based written examination for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department on January 28, 2024.
The exam was earlier advertised vide Notification No. 04 of 2020, Item No. 106 by the JKSSB. In an official notification issued today, the Board advised all candidates appearing for the exam to plan their travel and movement in advance and be available at locations near the exam centers allotted to them.
The notification stated that the admit cards for the exam are available on the official website of JKSSB – www.jkssb.nic.in. Candidates were also advised to follow all instructions provided in the admit cards.
The OMR based written exam for Accounts Assistant post will be held on January 28 across various centers in Jammu and Kashmir. The selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the written test.

The notification was issued by Reyaz Ahmad Malik, JKAS Controller of Examinations, J&K Services Selection Board. The Board has also requested the Department of Information to publish the notification in at least three leading newspapers of Jammu and Kashmir.
This recruitment drive is being conducted by JKSSB to fill various vacancies for the post of Accounts Assistant in the Finance Department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. A large number of candidates are expected to appear for the exam on January 28 — (Kashmir Student Alerts)
