JKSSB Selection List for Junior Assistant/ Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator posts
Subject: Provisional Selection List for the Post of Junior Assistant/ Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator, Department. of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction’s (DMRRR), advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2022 dated. 27.01.2022, under various Item Nos. (001-017).
Whereas, the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (DMRRR), vide indent No. DMRRR- MR/86/2021 dated. 18.11.2021, forwarded the requisition for making direct recruitment to the 89 posts of Junior Assistant/kuntor Assistant-cum-Computer Operator, Level-4 (25500-81100), as per the following break up:
Whereas, as per the method of recruitment notified for the posts of Junior Assistant/Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator 80% weight-age is earmarked to the performance of the candidates In the OMR Test and the Skill/Type Test shall carry 20% weight age; and
Whereas, the Board conducted the Skill Test/Type Test for these posts w.e.f. 09.02.2023 to 11.02.2023 vide Notification No. KSSB-COEDEXAM(UT)/06/2023-04 (7110979) dated 31.01.2023 and the Result Score sheet depicting the performance of the candidates In the Skill Test Type Test (Computer Based), was notified vide Notification No. XSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)23/2023-03 (7124203) dated 23.02.2023; and
Whereas, this was followed by the conduct of OMR based examination for these posts and vide Notification No. KSSB COEDEXAM/(UT)/65/2023-04 (7263889) dated 04.10.2023, the Result/Merit List of the candidates in the Written Test was notified; and
Whereas, the schedule of the submission of offline preferences and Documents Verification (DV) of the candidates falling under the consideration zone was notified vide No. JKSSB- COEGEXAM(UT)/65/2023-04(7263889) dated: 07.10.2023 and Supplementary Document Verification vide No. JKSSB-
Whereas, the JKSSB, vide Office Order No. 228-SSB of 2023 dated 13.10.2023, constituted a Selection Committee for preparing the Selection List for these posts; and
Whereas, while preparing the Provisional Selection List for the post of Junior Assistant/Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator, it has been observed that no candidate is available under SC/ST category. Therefore, in accordance with the procedure defined in Goverment Order No. 10-DMRRR of 2019 dated 06-03-2019, issued by Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, all unfilled reserved category posts under SC/ST categories have been de-reserved for Open Merit. Thus, these 13 posts (10-5C and 03-5T) are also filled up under Open Merit. However, 19 posts under RBA category have remained unfilled for want of eligible/suitable candidates; and
Whereas, the Provisional Selection List for the aforementioned posts prepared by the concerned Selection Committee as per the merit/eligibility of the candidates and having regard to the extant rules/regulations was placed before the Board in its 242th meeting held on 02.11.2023, which, after deliberations and consideration of the matter, after de-reserving the 13 Posts (10-5C and 03-5T), which have remained un-filled due to non- availability of candidates under the said category, approved its notification. Nineteen (19) posts have remained un-filled under the RBA category due to non-availability of a suitable eligible candidate
Now therefore, after taking into consideration all the aforementioned factors, the Provisional Selection List of the candidates for the post of Junior Assistant/Junior Assistant-cum Computer Operator, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, advertised vide Advertisement.
