Job Vacancies:
1. Project Coordinator (1 Position):
– Responsibilities include overall supervision and management of the Child Helpline Unit at DCPU.
– Developing strategies based on call trends analysis and qualitative data.
– Capacity building of the team, advocacy, and liaising with local administration.
2. Counselor (1 Position):
– Providing counseling services to children in contact with the Child Helpline Unit.
– Handling urgent psycho-social support and emotional guidance calls.
– Coordination with counselors in DCPU for comprehensive support.
3. Child Helpline Supervisor (03 Positions):
– Acting as a link between the community and the CHL unit at DCPU.
– Handling calls transferred from WCD Control Room and ensuring compliance with the Juvenile Justice Act.
– Identifying families and children at risk, offering necessary support services.
4. Case Worker (03 Positions):
– Assisting in the implementation of CHL unit at DCPU and intervening in cases.
– Addressing child-related needs such as medical, shelter, restoration, and nutrition.
– Participating in awareness activities and outreach programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
– A range of educational backgrounds, including postgraduate degrees and diplomas in relevant fields, is accepted.
– Experience in project formulation, implementation, monitoring, and supervision is preferred.
– Proficiency in computers is a requirement for all positions.
