Ministry of Education Announces Appointment of Director for National Institute of Technology Srinagar
The Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education is inviting applications for the position of Director at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
Eligibility
- Proven administrative, teaching and research background (including significant experience in research guidance at the Ph.D. level) with leadership qualities.
Compensation and Contract
- A salary of Rs. 2,10,000 (fixed) per month, plus a Special Allowance of Rs. 11,250/- per month and other admissible allowances applicable to the Vice-Chancellor of Central Universities and the Directors of other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).
- The appointment will be made on a contract basis for a term of five years or until the appointee reaches the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
