RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: 14,298 Vacancies, Salaries Up to Rs 92,300

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) invites application for vacancies for Technician Grade 1 Signal and Technician Grade 3 posts. RRB has increased the new number of vacancies to 14298 for the post of Technician Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3 across 40 categories which was earlier 9144 for 18 categories.

The online application process for fresh candidates will be shortly activated for 15 days at https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 details

RRB CBT Exam date for Technician (Grade 1 Signal and Grade 3) posts is tentatively scheduled for October to November 2024. The detailed RRB CBT Exam Date 2024 will be released soon on the official website of https://indianrailways.gov.in/.

Educational qualification

Technician Grade 1 Signal: Bachelor of Science In Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute OR B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute..

RRB Technician Grade 3: Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Forger and Heat Treater/Foundryman / Pattern Maker / Moulder (Refractory). (OR) Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trades.

Age limit

  • The age limit to apply for Technician Grade 1 Signal posts is 18 to 36 years.
  • The age limit to apply for Technician Grade 3 posts is 18 to 33 years

Upper age relaxation is available for reserved categories candidates.

Selection Process

The selection will be done based on the CBT exam, document verification, and medical examination.

Application fee

SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250 that will be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable.

The candidates belonging to other categorieds will need to pay Rs 500 fee. Out of this fee of Rs 500/-, an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in CBT.

Salary details

Technician Grade 1 Signal: Level 5 (Rs.29,200-92,300).

Technician Grade 3: Level 2 (Rs.19,900-63,200).

ISRO Recruitment 2024: 30 Vacancies, Salary Up to Rs 1.42 Lakh/Month

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will soon begin the recruitment processs for 30 vacancies under the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

The vacancies are available for posts of Welder, Fitter, Mechanical, Electrical, Turner, Machinist, Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’, Cook, Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’, Mechanic Auto Electrical And Electronics and Electronic Mechanic. The selected candidates can get up to Rs 1,42,000 salary as per the post and qualifications.

The application link will be open on the official website of ISRO – https://www.isro.gov.in/. The application form will be available from August 27 till September 10.

ISRO Recruitment 2024: Educational Qualifications

Mechanical post: The applicant should have a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with first class and should have passed SSLC/SSC in Welder Trade from NCVT.

Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’- The applicant should have passed class 10 or a similar exam from any recognized board or institute. The candidate should have 5 years of experience, out of which at least 3 years should be as a heavy vehicle driver and the remaining period should have experience driving light motor vehicles. They should also have an HVD licence and Public Service Badge.

Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’– Candidates should have a matric pass.The candidate should have 3 years of experience as a light vehicle driver. Candidates should have a valid LVD licence.

ISRO Recruitment 2024: Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years, while the maximum age should be 35 years to become eligible for the post.

Mera Ration 2.0 App:

If you have a ration card, it’s important to know that to keep your ration card active, the government has introduced a new mobile application. It is essential to register in this application to continue benefiting from your ration card. This application is called Mera Ration 2.0 App, and it provides several options related to your ration card, such as KYC (Know Your Customer), adding a new member to your family, or transferring your ration card to a new location. The government has added many features to this application.

Here, we will explain how any ration cardholder can register and use this application.

Mera Ration 2.0 App Registration Online:

First, go to the Play Store.
Search for “Mera Ration 2.0 App”.
The new government application will appear as “Mera Ration 2.0”. Install it.

Note: If you have the old version of the Mera Ration App on your phone, uninstall it first.

When you open the app for the first time, you will be asked to select a language. Choose your language and click Next.
Click on the “Get Started” option.
To access your ration card, you must first log in.
Select the “Beneficiaries Users” option.
Enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code, and click on “Login with OTP”.

Download Ration Card here

Note: You can enter the Aadhaar number of any family member linked to your ration card. The details of all members will be fetched and displayed, allowing you to make any necessary changes in the application.

An OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar card. Enter the OTP.
Once the OTP is verified, you will be asked to set a PIN. After setting this PIN, you won’t need to enter an OTP for future logins.
Enter the 4-digit PIN, click Next, and re-enter the PIN for verification. Click on “Create MPIN”.
Your PIN will be set, and the details of your ration card will be fetched and displayed in the application.

You will be asked to allow permission for your location. Allow it.

Your ration card will be fetched and displayed within the app. This smart ration card will replace the old paper ration card, and you can view all family members linked to the ration card. The dealer details and all other information related to the ration card will also be shown. You can download your ration card by clicking on “Download” and keep it with you.

Additionally, the app offers several options such as checking if your ration card KYC is completed, adding new members to your ration card, and getting a digital copy of your ration card, which can be used to receive rations at any dealer’s shop.

Srinagar, Aug 26 (KNO): The National Conference and Congress have finally entered into a pre-poll alliance and decided to go for seat sharing on five seats only

“NC will field candidates from 51 seats while INC will contest on 32 seats,” the NC—Congress leaders said while addressing a news conference, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)

However, they said that out of 32 seats, Congress will leave two seats, one each for CPI (M) and Panthers Party.

As per KNO, J&K PCC chief Tariq Hameed Karra while sharing the details said that there will be a friendly contest on five seats in J&K, but in a very disciplined manner—(KNO)
