It is notified for all the concerned that the date for submission of Online Application forms for the posts advertised in terms of Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2024/RR/RC dated 29.07.2024, is extended for a further period of ten (10) days w.e.f., 11.08.2024 to 20.08.2024.

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has released an advertisement notice inviting applications for various non-gazetted posts. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications till 20 August

10 vacancies are for Joint Secretary roles in various departments such as Digital Economy, FinTech, and Cyber Security along with in the Policy and Plan department in the National Disaster Management Authority under the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Joint Secretary (Investment) in the Ministry of Finance.

The candidates need to have significant experience and knowledge.

The positions for Director and Deputy Secretaries include specialized roles in the Agriculture Ministry focusing on natural farming, organic farming, and water management.

Director level post: The minimum and maximum age limit are 35 and 45 years respectively.
The Pay will be fixed at the minimum of Pay Level-13 in the Pay Matrix as per 7 th CPC (approximate gross salary would be around Rs. 2,32,000/-.

Deputy Secretary level post: The minimum and maximum age limit are 32 and 40 years respectively.
The Pay will be fixed at the minimum of Pay Level-12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7 th CPC(approximate gross salary would be around Rs. 1,52,000/-
The gross salary includes Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance & House Rent Allowance in present level.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced that the admit cards for the Junior Assistant written examination, scheduled for 25th August 2024, are now available. This examination is for the positions advertised under Notification Nos. 04 of 2021, 05 of 2021, 02 of 2022, and 04 of 2022.

No Subsidy For Solar Roofs Installed By Unregistered Vendors Under Surya Ghar: KPDCL Advisory

Srinagar, August 19:(GNS) Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Monday advised its domestic consumers to approach empanelled solar PV vendors only for installation of solar roof-tops under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme.

In a handout to GNS, the KPDCL spokesperson stated that some consumers are being approached by solar vendors for SRTs who are not registered with KPDCL under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme. “The list of empanelled vendors is available on National Portal of PM Surya Ghar with contact details, which can be accessed for choosing vendors of choice,” he advised.

The spokesman further clarified that those consumers who get their solar roof-tops installed by vendors who are not empanelled with KPDCL shall not be eligible for Central or UT subsidy.

“KPDCL has been issuing advisories through its social media handles warning customers not to get deceived by unregistered vendors,” he added.(GNS)

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 counselling is approaching its critical phase, with various states setting their schedules and procedures for admission to medical courses.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will end the NEET UG 2024 counselling registration process tomorrow, August 20. RRC NR Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway has published a notification for the recruitment to the post of Apprentice. Eligible and interested can apply from 16 August to 16 September 2024.

Online applications are invited from the engagement of 4096 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for imparting training at various Divisions/Units/Workshops over Northern Railway. The merit list will be released in November 2024

RRC NR Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must have passed class 10th with a minimum of 50% marks and ITI in the notified trade. Also, they should be above the age limit of 15 and below the age limit of 24 years.

To submit the application form successfully, candidates need to pay Rs. 100 as an examination fee. While, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD and women candidates are exempted from the fee payment.
