Prasar Bharati Akashvani Srinagar Recruiting Part-Time Correspondents
Akashvani Srinagar, a radio station owned by Prasar Bharati, India’s public service broadcaster, is hiring part-time correspondents (PTCs) for the Srinagar district. The positions are contractual and will be filled based on the Revised Scheme for Engagement of PTCs-2024.
To apply, candidates must have a degree or postgraduate diploma in journalism or mass media, or a graduation in any discipline with two years of journalistic experience. They must also be between the ages of 24 and 45.
Selected candidates will be responsible for gathering news and information from Srinagar district and reporting it to Akashvani Srinagar. They will also be required to produce short features and interviews.
